Veteran golfer Sirath Kasthuriratne won the Lectra Monthly medal for November 2002 when he secured 74 points in the golf competition sponsored by Lectra and Carlsberg worked off at the picturesque Victoria golf links at Digana, Rajawella, last Sunday.

This was Sirath Kasthuriaratne's second win in the monthly competition which began in June this year and his earlier win was in September. He is also leading the overall Lectra medal position with 307 points followed by K. Hama with 267 points. The first top positions of this competition were:

Sirath Kasthuriratne (74 points), Rohan de Silva (76 points), Peter Bright (77 points), K. Hama (77 points), Dharshan de Silva (78 points), P. Fernando (79 points), M. Ranasinghe (79 points), Nimal Wettimuni (80 points), M. Filer (80 points), Tony Witham (81 points).

The overall position in the Lectra Medal Board is as follows:

Sirath Kasthuriratne (307 points), K. Hama (267 points), Nimal Wettimuni (216 points), Peter Bright (208 points), Rohan de Silva (200 points), T. Okada (160 points), Sidath Wettimuni (100 points), Udesi Harris (78 points), Cranbors Per (70 points), Tony Withan (60 points).
