When the current government came into office the economy was on the brink of collapse and an expensive war both in lives and financially was leading us nowhere.As the Prime Minister recently explained, "When we came to office we found a fallow field.The last year has been one where we have prepared the ground and now in the coming year we can sow the seeds of our future prosperity".Regaining Sri Lanka is the main economic plank with which the government hopes to return the country back to prosperity.
