Bangladesh crash to humiliating 199-run defeat against India

DHAKA, April 12 (AFP) - Bangladesh crashed to a humiliating 199-run defeat against India with their second-lowest score ever in the opening match of a three-nation tournament here on Friday. Bangladesh were bowled out for 77 in 27.3 overs chasing a target of 277 set by the World Cup finalists courtesy Yuvraj Singh's maiden century.

The homeside, who have yet to win a match since their victory over Pakistan in the 1999 World Cup, managed just one more run than in their lowest ever score of 76 against Sri Lanka at Colombo last year.
