Roshan Abeyratne forges ahead in Outstation Contest

Benedictine Sisil de Silva leads Yasith Mihiranga of D. S. Senanayake College by 1,510 votes, in the Observer-Bata Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year All-Island Contest after count on coupon No. 10, while it appears that Roshan Abeyratne of St. Anne's Kurunegala is drawing away from Jayathu Neelaweera of Sri Sumangala, Panadura in the Outstation Contest.

In the Outstation Contest, Roshan Abeyratne has a lead of 2,516 votes over Jayathu Neelaweera after count of coupon No. 10.

Coupon No. 12 - the last coupon in the contest appears today and it will also appear in the "Daily News" this week. Voting ends on coupon No. 12 on Tuesday, April 22. And results will be published in the Sunday Observer of April 27.
