Nilusha and Matinee Idol at the Hut

Make the date with Nilusha Baeder and her group 'Matinee Idol' when they make an exclusive performance at the Hut, Mount Lavinia on Saturday July 5. Nilusha born in Sri Lanka is a singer performing professionally for the past eight years in Melbourne's finest soul, blues and jazz venues.

Formally trained in singing, Nilusha is currently studying a Bachelor of Music at the Victorian College of the Arts. Through Warner Bros she has released a single 'All My Loving' with the R&B group Bella, and has performed many times on Channel 10's Good Morning Australia.

Matinee Idol comprises acknowledged pianist/composer Monique di Mattina who plays in Melbourne with her own soul and blues trio; Stephane La Joie a funk, rock blues and jazz fusion bassist; guitarist Ryan Griffith and drummer Andrew Swann who has toured extensively throughout Australia, Europe, Asia and the States. Enjoy their funky, soul, blues and jazz rock sounds at the Hut this Saturday.
