Neville Leefe is no more

The John Keells group is sad to announced the demise of Neville Leefe their former director and outstanding Rugby player. During the 1960's Neville played in the pivotal role of scrum-half for CH&FC, and also represented All Ceylon in this position.

Rugby lovers would remember the fine combination of Neville Leefe and the outside half Nick Tate. Playing in the same side were John Keells Chairman Mark Bostock, Peter Sawdy and others.

Neville Leefe was a director of John Keells Thomson White Ltd., which later became John Keells Holdings Ltd. He emigrated to the United Kingdom around 1969. He was a partner of the London Tea Broking Company, Thompson, Lloyd & Ewert, until his retirement, around 1995.
