Culinary Art 2003, exhibition and competition organised by the Chefs Guild of Lanka was held for the 10th time at the New Convention and Exhibition Centre of the BMICH from July 4 to 6. About 1,200 competitors from 85 hotels and other catering establishments took part in this year's exhibition showing off their skills and artistry in 'Live cooking' and 'Static displays'. Around 50 hotel suppliers exhibited their products. Creations out of bread dough, elaborate butter sculpturing, innovative vegetable carving, delicious chocolate and sugar crafts and mouth watering hot meals were the chief attractions. |
