' Salute to the legends '

Rajiv

A fabulous musical extravaganza hitherto never experienced will go on the boards when 'Salute to the Legends' will be showcased on Saturday September 13 at the BMICH. The show will pay tribute to leading lights of yesteryear Wally Bastian, Rukmani Devi, Eddie Jayamanne and Sunil Shantha, and their hit songs will be sung by today's stars.

DR Entertainment - Damayantha Kuruppu and Rajiv Sebastians - will present the show in collaboration with Hotel Catering International Management Association (HCIMA). The partnership is also busy planning out some brand new concepts for the next year which will be worked out with the Royal College '83 Group and the Thomian Society of Colombo.

 Damanaytha

DR Entertainment came into the limelightwith their production of Tribute to Clarence' which was followed by many other memorable entertainment events such as 'Back to the 70s' 'Rajiv and Corinne in Concert' 70s, to the Millennium and the block buster concert the 'Sooriya Show.' Damayantha, himself a singer was one time member of the group 'Lonesome Stone' whose keyboardist was Diliup Gabadamudalige.

With his degree in Hotel Management and his interest in music, it was only logical that he teams up with singer Rajiv Sebastian who needs no introduction to our musical scene. We wish the partnership all success in their new venture 'Salute to the Legends'.
