Showroom for PRE OWNED Mercedes-Benz cars Diesel and Motor Engineering Company Ltd (DIMO), the general importers of Mercedes-Benz vehicles to Sri Lanka, recently renewed their commitment to Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts and owners alike by opening a showroom for PRE OWNED Mercedes-Benz cars. The new Mercedes-Benz whowroom is located in the heart of Colombo, at 176, Thimbirigasyaya Road, Colombo 5. DIMO has been involved in the pre-owned car market for some time, however 2 years ago they started marketing used Mercedes Benz vehicles as a part of their regular sales and they branded it as "PRE OWNED cars". But this is the first time DIMO would be having a dedicated showroom, sales team and technical support for PRE OWNED Mercedes-Benz buyers. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new Mercedes-Benz Showroom Chief Executive Officer of DIMO Ranjith Pandithage said "We at DIMO are privileged to represent a prestigious brand like Mercedes-Benz which has a tradition of over 100 years. By opening a showroom like this, we reassure our commitment to the Mercedes-Benz brand." DIMO is filling the vacuum since there are no established ways to buy or sell PRE OWNED Mercedes-Benz cars, he further said. Mercedes-Benz enjoys a market share of more than 55% in the luxury car segment and according to industry sources, Mercedes Benz is the only luxury car in the Sri Lankan market with an excellent second hand value. According to Ms. Roshani Dharmaratne, Customer Account Manager of DIMO, "This is the first time a dedicated showroom for 'PRE OWNED' luxury cars has been opened in Sri Lanka. Now DIMO gets an opportunity to provide their clients a better service. Apart from the convenient location, our clients will get a better selection, as various models are available under one roof". Moreover, dedicated professional staff will handle customer requirements and this showroom is open seven days a week, she further added. Now there are three options available for Mercedes-Benz buyers. First, used Mercedes-Benz cars could be traded-in for a brand new. Second, used Mercedes-Benz cars could be upgraded with a PRE OWNED, and thirdly even non Mercedces-Benz cars could be traded-in for either a PRE OWNED or a brand new Mercedes-Benz car. All cars are fully tested at DIMO's state-of-the-art workshop, which is the best automobile workshop in the country. Actual mileage and service history comes with most of the cars. All PRE OWNED Mercedes-Benz cars purchased from this showroom comes with an agent's warranty. |
