London eye - by Reggie Fernando Colombo seize zone 6 cricket trophy Summer in Kent was made even brighter when a cricket side from Colombo skippered by Aravinda de Silva won the eight overs Zone six cricket competition staged recently at the Sussex County Ground in Kent. Six sides vied for the trophy and in his usual masterly fashion Aravinda de Silva steered the final against London in Colombo's favour with a mighty batting performance to bring Colombo's total to 187 for three wickets. Aravinda de Silva was well supported by Kumar Sangakkara who hammered a lightening 46 in just 14 deliveries. London managed a mere 97 with Muralitharan bagging 4 wickets for 27 runs. ********** British and French police planned death crash of Diana claims new book Stunning revelations in a new book as to how Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed died in a horrific car crash in Paris six years ago have shocked the West. The book "Diana: Secrets and Lies" - by Nicholas Davies and published by AMI Books of New York which Britain tried to ban has brought to the surface once again many unanswered questions as to what really happened on that night. According to the book rogue elements from Scotland Yard's M15 and its French equivalent DST (La Direction de la Surveillance du Territoire) had come to a decision that Diana had become a dangerous liability and as she was a British citizen that M15 should take responsibility for organising and carrying out her death. The book also states that Diana's behaviour had become political dynamite and an increasing embarrassment to the British Royal Family, and many had feared what she might do next. It also reveals as to how the plotters from M15 and DST planned the entire tragedy and how professionally and meticulously they carried out the secret operation that would end with the deaths of Diana and Dodi. |
