Dearly beloved brother of Nihal, late Jayantha, Sriyan, Lakdasa, Rohan, Tissa, Zarth and Sister Christine, brother­in­law of Shanthini, Shiranee, Mercy, Anne, Christine and Anthony. GOONERATNE ­ JEFFERY ELROY   (Oregon USA). Son of late Elroy and Florence Gooneratne, beloved husband of Celine, much loved father of Shehan, Manish and Dinusha (Loretta nee De Silva is the mother of his three children), brother of Johann, brother­in­law of Kanthi, passed away peacefully in Aloha 19265 SW Prospect PL Aloha Oregon USA on January 12, 2004. 

NADARAJA ­ Professor T.   Chancellor of the University of Jaffna and former Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Colombo. Beloved husband of Svarnam and brother of Mahadevi, Mangaleswari and the late Mr T. Murugaser, expired on 20th January 2004. His remains were cremated, in accordance with his wishes, at a private ceremony on 21st January 2004.
