Ramani Krishna, a leading Indian bass guitarist now residing in Berlin will be flown down by SriLankan Airlines for the special 'Glen Terry and Friends' concert on Sunday February 29 at the Barefoot Gallery at 7 pm. The concert arranged by blues guitarist Glen Terry is a fund raiser for the Sunera Foundation, in its on-going project for the differently abled young people of getting percussive instruments as well as items needed for their sound system. Ramani Krishna well recognised for his distinctive playing of a 7 string bass with strong and effective tapping on the bass, will be featured with other international leading lights Andy Thompson - sax, Robin Lucci - guitar and vocals and Glen Terry - guitar and vocals. It will be an evening of blues, vibrant and explosive. The soloists will be backed by a band comprising Grant Chamberlain - sax, Alston Joachim - bass, Harsha Makalande - guest pianist, Kumar de Silva - piano and Jude Thiagaraja -drums. Keep the date free and support a worthy cause for the differently abled young people of the Sunera Foundation on Sunday February 29 at the 'Glen Terry and Friends' presentation.
