Joes u-14 cricketers chalk up two wins

Two fine performances by Harin Silva (66) and Gian Dalpethado (4 wickets for 3 runs in 6.5 overs of which 5 were maidens) saw St. Joseph's register an easy first innings win over Sri Sumangala, Panadura in their Schools' under-14 Division-I cricket match played at Darley Road.

Sri Sumangala: 58 (Gian Dalpethado 4 for 3, Dinal Dambarage 3 for 20).

St. Joseph's: - 116 for 5 (Harin Silva 66, A. Karunaratne 21).

St. Joseph's scored another easy first innings win over Sri Jayawardenepura MV in Schools' under-14 Division I cricket match.

Sri Jayawardenepura: 78 (P.M. Wickremasinghe 24, Dinal Dambarage 3 for 15, Dilshan de Silva 4 for 6, Gian Dalpethado 2 for 9) and 35 for 4 (Gian Dalpethado 2 for 0).

St. Joseph's: 105 for 4 declared (R. Perera 32, R. Amaratunga not out 24, P.M. Wickremasinghe 3 for 28).
