Travel Trade cricket champs

The Club Hotel Dolphin and Sri Lankan Airlines were the winners at the 28th annual Travel Trade Softball Cricket Sixes when they beat Tangerine Beach Hotel and Le Kandyan Hotel in the men's and women's finals respectively worked out at the St. Peter's grounds recently.

In the men's tournament semi finals, Club Hotel Dolphin beat Blue Oceanic Hotel and Tangerine Beach Hotel beat Triton Hotel. In the finals Club Hotel Dolphin, batting first scored 62 runs for 5 wickets in 4.4 overs. In reply, Tangerine Beach Hotel scored 41 for 5 wickets in 4.3 overs.

In the women's semi finals, Le Kandyan Hotel beat Club Palm Garden and SriLankan Airlines beat Riverina Hotel. In the finals SriLankan Airlines, batting first scored 101 for no wickets in 5 overs.

Men's

Quarter Finals - Club Hotel Dolphin beat The Oasis Hotel, Triton Hotel beat Aitken Spence Travels, Blue Oceanic Hotel beat Trans Asia Hotel, Tangerine Beach Hotel beat Eden Resort and Spa.

Semi Finals - Club Hotel Dolphin beat Blue Oceanic, Tangerine Beach Hotel beat Triton Hotel.

Finals - Club Hotel Dolphin (62/5) beat Tangerine Beach Hotel (41/5)

Women's

Quarter Finals - Club Palm Garden beat Club Hotel Dolphin, Sri Lankan Airlines beat Trans Asia Hotel, Le Kandyan Hotel beat Grand Oriental Hotel, Riverina Hotel beat Colombo Plaza
