CIMA (Sri Lanka) sets up a relief fund President of CIMA Sri Lanka Division, Claude Perera said that the division has taken the initiative of setting up a relief fund. He said, "We hope to be able to rebuild a school in each of the worst affected areas. We are therefore seeking the help of CIMA members and supporters worldwide to provide the funds to resource this crucial project. Our auditors, H. L. B. Edirisinghe and Co., have consented to be the honorary auditors for the project and will manage the donations on our behalf." The fund was set up after discussions with CIMA headquarters in London who will assist in collecting donations from its 65,000 members worldwide. Contributions can be sent via www.payeasy.lk under the category "Donations to the Victims of Tidal Wave" and select under Payee, "CIMA Sri Lanka Division Relief Fund". Once you enter this category your contributions can be made. Alternatively Cheques/Bank Drafts can be drawn in favour of CIMA - Sri Lanka Division Relief Fund and sent to CIMA, 356, Elvitigala Mawatha, Colombo 5, Sri Lanka. The Division invites everyone to assist in rebuilding Sri Lanka by creating a tomorrow for our children in the affected areas. |
