Head-hunting unit to assist school-leavers

by Hiran H.Senewiratne

StratCon, a leading management consultancy service company, will establish a head-hunting unit to assist school leavers in the country.

This will function as a separate strategic business unit of the company and will collect necessary data from various business educational institutes for the data-base for this purpose, its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gehan Dhameeth said.

He said that the company is a management consultancy firm with a dedicated team of qualified consultants on a variety of skills and experience to support this new unit. The company has been working on numerous consultation programs with various top companies such as Hemas, the Richard Pieris group, Sampath Bank and Sri Lanka Standard Institution, for the past few years.

Dhameeth said that head-hunting is an important task in today's business world to absorb suitable young persons for business organisations." Although this concept is not a popular method in this country we intend to popularise it by expanding the network of companies. This will also facilitate the whole process in a big way," he said.

The company will adopt various promotional strategies such as lectures and media, to penetrate into the business targeting the corporate sector including the SMEs, he said.

StratCon will also extend their services to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and later on to the Middle-East and Asian countries, CEO Dhameeth said. StratCon offers companies and executives the opportunity to extend staff capacity and capabilities through a wide range of planning and implementation services.

These services enable companies to be more efficient and effective in the administration and management of all the resources, he said.

The company will go for a backward integration with USA and UAE companies to provide consultation services in the future, he added .

This management consultation firm is specialised in areas including customer care, sales process management, selling techniques, time management, project management, brand management, communication skills and excellent team building.
