Ananda-Royal drawn by Leslie Fernando Charith Jayaweera hit a polished 52 with five fours and two sixes and shared a 79-run stand with Mahee Wathuregama (an unbeaten 26) to enable Ananda to gain a slender five-run first innings lead over Royal in their school cricket match which ended in a draw at Reid Avenue yesterday. Royal 190 on Friday and Anandians in reply 33 for 3 were struggling at 116 for 9, but steady stand between Charith and Mahee enabled them to total 195.
