(EL) ************ SLJBCC on exhibitions and trade fairs in Japan The Sri Lanka-Japan Business Co-operation Committee (SLJBCC), affiliated to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has not assigned any of their members to organise exhibitions and trade fairs in Japan. It holds joint meetings with their Japanese counterpart, the Japan-Sri Lanka Business Co-operation Committee on a regular basis. An article published on March 13, 2005 on "SLJBC to woo Japanese Investors" gave the impression that one of their senior members has been assigned to organise exhibitions and trade fairs in Japan. The SLJBCC said that it had not assigned any of their members to promote exhibitions in Japan. It only allowed them to organise or promote them in a personal capacity. |
