Dialog IPO opens first week of July Dialog Telekom Limited (DTL), the premier mobile telecom company in the country will go ahead with its share issue to the public in spite of the political turmoil in the country. The company last week received the final approval of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) and subsequently the company released the core details of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the media. CEO of the DTL Dr. Hans Wijesuriya said the company is also seeking foreign investments allotted 40% of the offered shares for foreign investors and added that they would carry out road shows in foreign countries. "We are very confident of Sri Lanka's economy and the capital market and we have our own projection, he said. The IPO of the DTL will open in the first week of July and the issue consists of 721,336,293 ordinary shares at a par value of Re. 1 each. The share offered price would be determined through a book building process based on a price range of Rs.8-12 in steps of Re. 1. Investors are invited to bid at an offer price of their choice within the specified range. GW |
