Beijing
service launched by SriLankan
Sri Lankan Airlines launched a thrice- weekly service to China. The flights will be on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays via Bangkok. The launch of services to Beijing is expected to add modern cultural dialogue to the strong diplomatic and trade relations the two countries enjoy at present. An important part of the launch of flights to China was the signing of interline agreements with four airlines, Air China, China Eastern, China Southern and Dragon Air which service 27 major cities throughout China. Passengers throughout China will have easy access to the SriLankan network of destinations and passengers flying in to China can travel on Sri Lankan up to Beijing. The introduction of this new flight will provide Bangkok with daily frequencies to Colombo. |
