LTTE denies The LTTE political leader Thamilselvan has denied LTTE involvement in the assassination of the Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar, pro-LTTE Tamilnet website reported. Thamilselvan said there were several forces against the Ceasefire in the South. Blaming the government for hastily charging the LTTE of the assassination, the LTTE political chief urged the government to launch an investigation into the assassination. Throughout the ceasefire, the LTTE has repeatedly denied its involvement in targeted assassinations of rival political activists, despite those killings carried hallmarks of the LTTE. |
