Two buses fall into rivers in southern India Almost 100 people were killed after two packed passenger buses skidded
off flooded bridges in India's southern Tamil Nadu state following heavy
rains, a report quoting police said Saturday. At least 50 people drowned
when a state-run passenger bus was washed away by the flood waters of the
swollen Sirugani river in Ramanathapuram district, the Press Trust of India
(PTI) news agency said, quoting police.
