A. N. Jayasundera and B. P. M. Wijesekera of St. Sylvester's College, Kandy will represent Sri Lanka at the All-India Funakoshi Cup International Karate Championship scheduled to be held on the 12th February 2006 in Mumbai, India.

These two youngsters have been invited by the World Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Organisation as members of the Kudo Daido Juku Sri Lanka branch.

Jayasundera will participate in the 55 kg weight category while Wijesekera will fight in the 50 kg weight category. At present both competitors are Brown Belt holders.
