Dharmaraja to get modern playground

Dharmaraja College Old Boys Union with the help of well-wishers shave
taken steps to have a modern playground for the college at a cost of Rs.
25 million.
The first phase of the project has cost a sum of Rs. 13 million
according to Yasas Chandrasekera - the President of the Old Boys
Association. The first phase takes in widening the playing field and
improving the drainage system.
The entire project is handled by Central Engineering Consultancy
Bureau and the second phase which started recently, when completed, will
have a running track from 300 to 400 metres, modified playground upto
international standards, three turf wickets in the centre, a new
pavilion with modern facilities. |
