HSBC Lifestyle Fair 2006 attracts over 14,000
The two-day HSBC Lifestyle Fair 2006, which was held from July 1-2,
2006 at the Kandy City Centre Car Park attracted over 14,000 consumers.
The HSBC Lifestyle Fair in Kandy offered an array of benefits and
choices during the weekend bonanza.
In a bid to provide world-class value addition to consumers, the bank
included a whole gamut of merchants under one roof - including consumers
electrical items, telecommunication services, florists, jewellers and
interior decor.
The fair presented an ideal opportunity to showcase the merchandise
of Kandy-based merchants. "We achieved 200 per cent of our target and
since this was the first time we launched our product in Kandy, we found
that our product was exposed to the right market segment/ The HSBC
Lifestyle Fair is going to be a definite event on our calendar", said
Mahesh Premaratne, general manager, Koala.
Gamini Chandrasena, public relations officer, Dinapala Group (Kandy
group) said, "It was something non-traditional and different and a crown
gathering of this magnitude is very rare." Janak Badugama, marketing
manager, Toyota Lanka, said "It was both well-organised and well-patronised."
There were also sixteen HSBC stalls, which brought a range of banking
products and services to the fair including Home Loans from HSBC, HSBC
credit cards, PowerVantage from HSBC, Children's Savings Accounts, 0%
interest instalment plans on purchases with HSBC credit cards,
BusinessVantage solutions and automated channels such as ATM, Internet
Banking and EasyPay facilities in addition to Lifestyle Loans from HSBC.
