C. W. W. Kannangara MMV ten-a-side champs

C. W. W. Kannangara MMV, Borella won the ten-a-side rugby football tournament for division two schools played in Kurunegala recently.

In the final, C. W. W. Kannangara MMV beat Rahula Katugastota MMV by 8 points to nil. The tourney was conducted by Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union's Development Section.

There were 24 teams from all over Sri Lanka that participated and among them were: Welagedera MMV, Devapathiraja MMV, St. Thomas' Bandarawela, Kegalu Vidyalaya, St. Thomas' Matale, Royal Wayamba, Maliyadeva Kurunegala, Rahula Matara, Devananda Ambalangoda, Dharmapala Pannipitiya, S. Thomas' Gurutalawa, Nugawela Central and Rahula Katugastota.
