CIM Lanka achieves 55.08% pass rate
The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka created history again
by achieving a 55.08% pass rate at the June 2006 examination. The
results were released last week.
There was more reason for celebration as this percentage was only
second to UK who achieved a pass rate of 58.12% thus Sri Lanka bridging
the gap further this session. Chitrangani Herat Gunaratne, Head of
Education, CIM Sri Lanka Region said "Our pass rates have grown steadily
in the past few years and we can be jubilant of the present achievement.
The tutor and student seminars conducted by CIM Sri Lanka Region has
been of immense assistance to all and we are confident that we can look
forward to even better results and more prize winners in the future".
The Sri Lanka Region achieved higher pass rates than UK in subjects
such as Analysis and Evaluation, Managing Marketing Performance and
Strategic Marketing in Practice all being Stage III modules of The
Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing level. "Managing
Marketing Performance was a module of grave concern and we have now
achieved more than a 50% pass rate and even bettered CIM UK", said an
official of CIM Sri Lanka Regional Office.
