Sadaharitha group promotes environment friendly products

Sadaharitha investments (Pvt) Ltd. celebrated its fourth anniversary at the Tangerine Beach Hotel recently. Through the aim of many businesses is to earn only profits, the vision of the Sadaharitha group is to make Sri Lanka evergreen by promoting environment friendly products, a spokesman for the company said.

The main business of Sadaharitha Investments is marketing a short term investment plan by managing Agriculture and Forestry investments to get long and short term returns.

Sadaharitha Finance Company provides finance facilities at flexible and attractive rates, he said. Sadaharitha Agri investments together with Sadaharitha Investments manage more than 200 acres of mahogany, rambuttan and teak plantations.

Chairman/Managing Director Sathish Nawarathne said the revenue income of the Investment Companies has increased tremendously every year. The annual growth rate compared with the previous year is 54%. Sadaharitha Finance had a 100% growth rate compared to last year.

Nawarathne said the company is doing a feasibility study with the support of the post harvesting unit of the Agriculture Department in market value added products in rambuttan and rambuttan bottling.

A holiday bungalow will be built for their valued customers by the end of this year. The group is working out a three-year business plan to obtain the highest market share in the trade.
