UNP to mark 60th anniversary

The United National Party (UNP) will celebrate its 60th anniversary on September 6 (Wednesday) at 'Sirikotha', Pitakotte under the patronage of party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.

A pirith ceremony to mark the forthcoming anniversary and to invoke merit on all past party members including D. S. Senanayake, Sir John Kotelawala, Dudley Senanayake, J. R. Jayewardene, Ranasinghe Premadasa and D. B. Wijetunga was held at 'Sirikotha' on Friday.
