ICC World Cup: Sri Lanka face first game with Bermuda March 15
George Steuarts Travel International will go for their third innings
as the official travel agents for the 2007 ICC World Cricket Cup to be
held in the West Indies in March next year.
They were the official travel agents for the three previous World Cup
championships in India/Pakistan in 1996, 1999 in England and the last
one held in South Africa in 2003.
George Steuarts have come out with three attractive packages to all
cricket fans who want to watch the World Cup matches in the Caribbean
from March 13, 2007 to April 28th, 2007. This includes return air
ticket, visa fees, internal traveling, accommodation, medical and

There are other optional packages to witness the two semifinals and
the final.
The semi-finals will be played in Jamaica on 24 and 25 of April 2007
and the final will take place on April 28 in Barbados.
Sri Lanka has been drawn in group ‘B’ with India, Bermuda, and
Bangladesh, and will meet Bermuda in their opening match on March 15 at
Trinidad. They will take on Bangladesh on March 21 and India on March 23
also at Trinidad. The Super eight series will begin on March 27 and end
on April 22.
The Chairman and Managing Director of George Steuarts S. Skandakumar
who chaired a press briefing at the Taj Samudra, Golden Pond said that
this World Cup should be a good one for Sri Lanka as it resembles the
one that we had in 1996 with the ideal balance and depth in batting and
bowling and we beat Australia in the final at Lahore. R.A. |
