39 sports at Games

Asian games: DOHA, Qatar, Dec. 2 (Reuters)

Thirty-nine sports will feature at the Dec. 1-15 Asian Games in Doha, including chess and triathlon for the first time. Modern pentathlon has been dropped since the 2002 Asian Games in Pusan, South Korea.
