Being one of the first system integrators in Sri Lanka, KBSL seems to have been treading on paths not taken before, keenly and steadily, since its inception in 1987.

KBSL, a member of the IT sector of John Keells Holdings is a provider of ICT consultancy services and an ICT Integrations Solution provider including Application Integration, Host Integration, Network Integration, Multi-Service Integration and Full Services Integration.

They have always been synonymous with innovation within technology, providing turnkey solutions and high quality support and services. Today, they rate as the number one IBM P series support providers, and are one of the few companies to have completed successful core banking implementations in Sri Lanka with their partners' i-Flex Solutions Ltd.

Among the numerous novelties and 'firsts' by KBSL are multi-point video conferencing solution with AVAYA and Picturetel (2001), a fully featured distributed call centre using Avaya Technology (2004), and working in 2005 with the SAP Consultants in providing and implementing the high availability hardware infrastructure for the project.

KBSL also set up the first Security Operations Centre in conjunction with e-Cop, Singapore, and have been awarded the project for implementing the first NGN Based International Tandem Soft Switch from Tekelec for a leading service provider in the country.
