Overhaul at SLTB?

Major changes in the administration of the Sri Lanka Tourist Board (SLTB) are likely to be effected shortly, sources said. Sources said the proposed changes would diversify activities of the institution to attract more tourists and business.

The SLTB has planned to expand tourist promotional activities worldwide to attract more tourists in the coming year.

Accordingly Sri Lankan missions overseas would be asked to coordinate with the SLTB to promote Sri Lanka's tourism in those countries.

The SLTB will provide promotional and other propaganda material to overseas missions for this purpose.
