More bus halts to help schoolchildren

More bus halts will be set up at the main highways in the city of Colombo for the benefit of passengers, especially schoolchildren who face hardships due to the new traffic scheme which came into force from last month.

According to the new traffic scheme which was implemented by the Colombo Traffic Police to minimise traffic congestion, all vehicles coming along the High Level Road are diverted to the city via Thurstan Road from Thummulla Junction.
