Global YMCAs to support more tsunami relief work

International delegates nominated by the World Alliance of YMCAs (WAY) and Asia Pacific Alliance of YMCAs to coordinate and support the Sri Lanka YMCAs tsunami relief work will meet on January 30 and 31 to review the progress of the relief initiatives and will decide on further assistance.

The meeting will be held at the YMCA International Centre at Katunayake. The group consists delegates of US, UK, Australia, Malta, Singapore, Hong Kong and Germany YMCAs, Y-Care International UK/Ireland Director Chris Roles will chair the meeting.

The Sri Lanka YMCA delegation is led by Eraj Wijesinghe, Chairman of the Tsunami Response Task Committee and Ravi Algama, President of Sri Lanka YMCA.
