CRICKET - Indika de Saram completed his second century and brought his tally pass the four hundred and fifty run mark as Ragama CC put themselves in contention for an easy outright victory over Panadura SC on the second day of their SLC Premier League Inter Club Cricket Tournament match continued at Panadura yesterday.

Panadura SC: 92 and 71 for 6 (K. Perera 36, M. Bandara 2 for 22).

Ragama CC: 402 for 9 decl. (D. Ranatunga 66, I. de Saram 123, S. Perera 64, K. Weeraratne 30, S. Jeewantha 34, L. Hemappriya 3 for 74, K. Perera 4 for 90).

10 wicket haul

Paceman Ruchira Perera took a match-bag of ten wickets to put Colts CC in contention for an outright victory over Baduraliya CC on the second day of their SLC Premier League Inter Club Cricket Tournament match continued at Havelock Park yesterday.

Two half centuries

Two good half centuries from Janaka Wannakuwatte and Ruwin Peiris helped Moors SC take a good first innings lead over Tamil Union on the second day of their SLC Premier League Inter Club Cricket Tournament match continued at Braybrooke Place yesterday.

Nugegoda in lead

Nugegoda SC were set to take a good first innings lead as they reached 148 for 5 in reply to Moratuwa SC's total of 118 runs on the opening day of their SLC Division Two Cricket Tournament match which began at Katunayake yesterday.
