Cleopatra had used many herbal
treatments to maintain her never fading beauty. That was why Mark
Anthony once compared her to a flower that never withered. Since
yesterday, beauty consciousness has been a fact that is common to every
woman. Until the last breath women tend to look nicer, and would go to
any length of
distance to maintain themselves.
Along with the present modern techniques which we see in every little
thing in the world, beauty field has also changed with many modern
developments. Our Sri Lankan beauticians have also been introducing new
techniques to us upgrading the standards of beauty culture treatments
and therapies here.
Chameeliya Niroshani Ramanayaka, a twenty-year-old beautician hopes
to be the franchise holder of such modern technical treatment equipments
and herbal products of beauty culture in Sri Lanka.

who have earned a name for beauty culture for 17 years talks about her
novel therapies that goes with modern techniques enthusiastically.
"In the modern world several methods and modes are used to enhance
the beauty of a person. Recently Harrow on the Hill university
introduced some new discoveries of modern techniques for darkened skin,
wrinkles black spots, pimples, dry skin, blemishes (black patches on
both cheeks), oily skin and black rings round the eyes," said Chameeliya.
She graduated in beauty culture from the University of Harrow on the
Hill, London and then specialised in hair care and treatment at Wella

"What the Harrow on the Hill is introducing is electrical facial
treatments and herbal beauty products made in London," she explains.
"The treatments would generally begin with a thorough check up on the
face, and then with two treatments per month. Ultra skin care treatment
is used to get rid of all the blemishes and wrinkles. The length of the
treatment would depend on the condition of the skin.
Treatments
are done in every 6 days for two to three months. It's a great
contentment to see the vast improvement in a client. Beauty therapy is a
nursing remedy which affect a person both physically and

In the salons, we render individual care and attention to every

age and gender we give the best treatment to everyone," she explains. |
