Lake House NSSA Women 'A' div champs

TABLE TENNIS: Lake House emerged "A" division women's champions at the Nationalised Services Table Tennis Championships. The winning team comprised Namal Gunasekera, Champs Wimalawardena and Deepthi Ranasinghe.

The runners-up were: People's Bank with Ira Ruwanpathirana and Sudarma Mallaviarachchi.

Then in the Mixed Doubles Championships, Nationalised Services Bank with Sarath Wijesooriya teaming with S. Tilakasena, Prabath Indrajith and Nilanthi Sumanasekera came on top.

The runners-up were Lake House with R. A. Wimalasena teaming up with Namal Gunasekera, Chaminda Wijegunawardena and Champa Wimalawardena and Vajira Herath and Deepthi Ranasinghe.

Other results

In other tournaments, National Savings Bank beat Water Board by 3 sets to 2. The National Savings Bank team was led by Sarath Wijesooriya and Water Board team had Danusha Goonatilleke as caption. Other results: Men's 'B' division: Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation came on top with People's Bank as runners-up. In the Women's 'B' division: People's Bank came on top with National Savings Bank as runners-up.

Then in the Men's 'C' division, NAITA came on top with National Savings Bank as runners-up.
