"Rupaswara Rupanthara Sankramanaya":

Art Exhibition and CD Launch

6.00 p.m. CD Launch at the Foundation Auditorium.

The programme is co-ordinated by Upali Karunarathna (Art) and Sunil Premakumara (Music) and the days programme will be introduced by singers Sangeeth Nipun-Thanuja Edirisinghe, Sandamali Gamage, Victor Ramanayake, Upali Herath, Himath Weerasinghe, Nilmini Madugalla, Danusha Amarasinghe, Menaka Dilrukshi Vithanage, Chamila Kahandakorala, the music and lyrics is written by Kithsirimevan Jayasena. Charudhattha Illangasinghe, Lahiru Lohitha Mututhantri, Danusha Amarasinghe are responsible for assembling the computer music.

Chaminda Gunarathna (Sinhala) & Nipuni Samarasekara (English) will host the evening while Indrajith Mirihana will conduct the music on stage. Choreography is by Ariyarathna Kaluarachchi and Upali Herath is the creative director behind the scene.

Kithsirimevan Jayasena is no new entry to the art scene here. His full time involvement in painting, TV dramas and music spans over 22 years here in Sri Lanka.

He has been an active member in numerous cultural activities in California for the past so many years and has successfully led many Sri Lankans to participate in creative work, while they are away from their home ground.Kithsirimevan holds a degree for fine arts from the University of Kelaniya and a degree in Computer Animation and Graphics from the Art Institute of Los Angeles.

Rupaswara Rupanthara Sankramanaya is his latest creative exercise.
