Scissors does the talking

Piyal and Manel had the passion for fashions from the time of their childhood. The passion turned into creativity where Piyal became a master in hair care, hair style and hair cuts.

At this point one old saying comes into my mind "Behind every successful man is a woman with a strong force", confirming the same, Manel put her hands together with her husband and formed "Sithmi Salon" which is located in Wattegedara, Nawinna, Maharagama.(Opposite the Maharagama National Savings Bank). Believing that his scissors would do the talking, both decided to stand with their feet, that's how "Sithmi Salon" was opened.

Recalling Piyal's childhood, he had his education at Sidhartha Vidhyalaya, Thalapathpitiya. Getting hands on experience in the field of hair cuts and hair care were uncle Nihal Perera's suggestion. With time he worked under leading professional hair stylists and gained 18 years of experience with strong clientel. Manel Followed a course in beauty culture and to get her experience she worked in Dubai for five years.

Piyal and Manel said that they give individual attention to all clients. Their age group, family background, working attitude, physical structure are few points which are considered when serving the client with the right style.

Piyal said Different fashions come and go and they are very focused on new trends. "Sithmi Salon" offers all kinds of hair and beauty treatments ranging from hair cuts to hair colouring, bonding, perming, facials, make-up, bridal dressing etc. Finally Piyal and Manel said they offer what's best that suits the clients needs.
