Saa-jeet questions Ra-Blue

Ra-Blue had a close call in getting his party's working committee mandate for the pact with Wedding Sam. But an angry Saa-jeet, the love salve has demanded an assurance from his leader that they would not give up the elephant symbol. Sa-jeet has said he would never contest under any other.

Doc Jay Jay in home battle

Although Doc Jay Jay is so close to the Tiger top brass, he is not close to the hearts of the people in his own electorate - the Ela that is Jaa. At the Op Leader's office at Kem-Bridge were people's reps from the Town Council and Pradeshiya Sabha who had big complaints against the Doc who has an open visa to the Wanni.


Sporty Big-House sees Rhinos

Sporty Big-House had an animal look at Lime-wala on Friday. He was there to see the two baby Rhinoceros from Japan. Big-House who had trouble after Aa-Flower rejected his offer to be in the cricketing selections, was briefed by the officials on the two animals brought from the Nagoya Higashiyama zoo.


Three-cornered tussle

While Ra-Blue still makes unsuccessful attempts to get back Tea-luck Karu to the treasurer's job, a three-cornered tussle inside is on for the vacancy created after Tea-luck resigned in disgust. The contestants are Johnny Boy, Sun Karu-Leader and Vaj Abey, the blue-eyed boy.


MR reprimands Ai Gee

MR lost his after he saw a newspaper picture of a policeman baton charging devotees lined up along Manik river. He immediately rang the Ai Gee and demanded an immediate investigation. While criticising similar previous incidents by the law-nforcing men, MR thanked the media for highlighting those mischievous acts.


District preferential battles

The Elephant Party has failed to settle its ongoing problems relating to the appointment of the organisers. Sun Karu-Leader has strongly opposed a move to have Doo-meenda S to Colombo North. Poor Ra-Blue is facing similar district power battles in Kalutara and Kurune-Rock too.
