Soccer sevens in Wattala today

SOCCER: The seven-a-side football tournament organised by the Wattala Football League will be held today (Sunday 12) at St. Sebastian's College grounds Kandana.

Thirty teams registered in the Wattala Football League will play in the tournament. President of the Wattala Football League Conrod Perera said the winners, runners-up, best player and the best goal-keeper will receive valuable prizes.

The prize distribution will be held at 5.00 p.m. today under the patronage of Fisheries Minister Felix Perera.

Prize distribution of the inter clubs knock out Football Tournament organised recently by the Wattala Football League will also take place at today.

President of the Wattala Football League Conrod Perera has decided to implement a massive programme take the game to Ja-Ela too.
