FAOCBA meets in Japan
The Heads of customs brokers associations of Australia, China, India,
Korea, Japan, Philippines and Sri Lanka as members of the Federation of
Asia-Oceania Customs Brokers Associations , FAOCBA, met in Yokohama,
recently under the patronage of Executive Director of Customs Brokers
and Forwarders Council of Australia, Stephen Morris.
It was the first seminar for FAOCBA members to discuss mutual
concerns of Customs Brokerage Business, which was jointly initiated by
Hideo Hirose of Japan Customs Brokers Association and Huang Rufeng of
China Customs Brokers Association.
Darryl Sharp of Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council, CBFC,of
Australia, Huang Rufeng of China Customs Brokers Association, CCBA, Ram
Sharma Chunduru of Federation of Freight Forwarders in India, FFFI,
Chin-Young Kim of Korea Customs Brokers Association, KCBA and Hirose of
Japan Customs Brokers Association, JCBA, lead the delegations.
Ms. Marivic Briones of the Federation of Accredited Customs Brokers,
FACB and Forwarders of the Philippines and Niyas of Association of
Clearing and Forwarding Agents in Sri Lanka, ACFA were present.
