Kandy FDB looks for Attorney-at-law

The Kandy Fraud Detective Bureau(FDB) is on the look out for a female
Attorney-at-Law practising in Teldeniya, Gampola and Kandy courts.
According to FDB, the female Attorney-at-Law is alleged to have
prepared a forged deed for a land belonging to an Additional Government
Agent and had transferred the ownership of the land to its previous
owner by registering the forged deed in the Land Registry.
The previous owner of the land and two witnesses, who are alleged to
have signed the forged deed prepared by the female Attorney-at-Law, were
taken in for questioning by the FDB.
The FDB produced the previous owner and two witnesses with a 'B'
report before the Kandy Magistrate, Harsha Setunge who released the
previous owner and a witness on cash bail and remanded the other witness
as there were alleged forgery complaints against him.
Chief Inspector, Sena de Alwis, OIC FDB Kandy with the assistance of
sergeant, A. W. Jayaratne and PC M. A. Saman is conducting further
investigations.
