Life on a boat

Drop by drop, the sea begins to wobble,
Inch by inch, the sailor's boat travels,
Bit by bit, the sun shines in the sky,
Minute by minute a day's morning arrives.

Wave by wave, more joy would come.
Wind by wind, the soul would get calm.
Sail by sail the destination would be seen,
And there he shall land and live,
With his children and queen.

A petty quarrel

About a hundred sitting and standing;
All in front and turning their backs.
Only a handful on my left,
Of whom I cover some furtive glances.

Trees and houses pass at a pace;
A rascal from a shop front makes a face.
Where the palms allow at irregular frequency,
The sun peeps through and smiles knowingly.

I ease myself and look to my right,
Smoothly straightening the one who's my light.
The rose has become further ruddy
I finger down a tear stuck on her cheek!

Repercussion

Into my neighbour's I stole
When the light had closed eyes;
Uprooted a sapling coming up bright
Which I threw off, off its place.

Following morning I beheld her,
Struggling life, embracing breeze.
Whereupon she nodded as if to ask
"Tell me my cruelty, what it is."

Uneasy lies now in my head
And 'am restless in my bed.

The spell

Lion has become a symbol,
Symbol of a victorious Nation,
Which they were proud and brave like lions,
They built a proud and a furious history,
Their creations were unbelievable,
The Nation's proud traditions were followed,
Followed by the mighty kings.

Later this Nation was captured,
Captured by the Portuguese, the Duth and the English,
They destroyed our proud traditions,
They stole our unbelievable creations,
They gave us their traditions,
They ruined the Nation and ruined us,
And made it a deserted Nation,
So our people were lost,

Are you sure about this?
Did they destroy our proud traditions?
Did they steal our unbelievable creations?
Did they ruin our Nation and us?
But it's true they gave their traditions.
Why didn't we neglect their proud traditions and
Protect our traditions?
Why didn't we protect our unbelievable creations?
Why didn't we rebuild after they have ruined our nation?
Were we, having a nap or were we paralysed,
Until they've made this Nation a desert.
O.......men of our Nation aren't we still Lions?
Then, why don't we rebuild our Nation?
