Ravi and Aruna in line for four titles

TENNIS: Ravi Subramaniam and Aruna Seneviratne from Aitken Spence are set to clinch four titles at the Mercantile Tennis Championship conducted by the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) at the National Tennis Centre (NTC) in Greenpath. This is being sponsored by NDB Bank.

Subramaniam has already won one title - the Men's over-45 Singles beating Gavin Perera of HSBC comfortably in straight sets (6-1, 6-0).

He is in the Men's Doubles final with Seneviratne and will be taking on the winners of the Asiri Iddamalgoda and Gavin Perera vs Sohan Patrick and K. Kumarakulasingham match today.

Subramaniam and Seneviratne are also in the Men's over-35 Doubles final and billed to take on the winners of the I. Othman and G. Ghouse vs Patrick and Kumarakulasingham match.

The same pair is also in the final of the Men's over-45 Doubles and will meet Gavin Perera and S. Wijeratne. (L.G.)
