Red carpet welcome for President Abdul Gayoom

We capture here some of the special moments of the two-day visit of Maldivian President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Nasrina Gayoom. They were accorded full state honours including a military guard of honour at the Bandaranaike International Airport on 12, February 2008. President Gayoom was presented with the title “Sri Lanka Mithra Vibushana by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
