Trinity College Principal Rod Gilbert wrote to us in 2005, saying
that Trinity College cricketers are not eligible for the contest. So,
the Sunday Observer is following that rule this year as well.
Lahiru Pathirana of Kegalu Vidyalaya who is in the running for
honours in the Outstation Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year
Contest is not entitled for votes in the competition as he is not in
school. This was confirmed by the Principal of Kegalu Vidyalaya N. A. S.
Bandara.
Readers are reminded that any number of coupons can be sent for one
particular cricketer under one cover. Readers must not mix-up names of
the cricketers.
