Books to mark Literary Month

The Government has allocated Rs. 41 million to purchase books for State schools to mark Literary Month, September, said Education Minister, Susil Premajayantha.

Three hundred and twenty-nine National Schools and 31 other schools will benefit from this move. Accordingly Rs. 34.8 million has been allocated for 329 selected national schools and the remaining Rs. 6.2 million for 31 other schools.
