Tritech launches new company

Tritech, construction company which celebrated their 10th anniversary recently have launched a new company called "Maldivian Tritech (Pvt) Ltd, in association with Maldivian counterparts to foray into overseas markets to provide their professional expertise.

The event coincided with the unveiling of the Maldivian Tritech (Pvt) Ltd's banner by Tritech's Managing Director Srilal Middellawala and the Maldivian counterpart Mohamed Mauroof.

Managing Director Srilal Middellawala said Tritech Engineers was launched in 1999 by three professionally qualified engineers Viraj Wickremasinghe, P. Sarathchandra and himself. The company has shown a record growth of 25 per cent per annum since formation. He said their aim was to become the best engineering service provider in the country.

He said Tritech has diversified into other areas such as trading and production during the past decade. Tritech Marketing International (Pvt) Ltd, markets products for industrial segments. Natural products Holding (Pvt) Ltd, is targeted for producing and marketing essential oil for the export market.

Tritech Engineers (Pvt) Ltd is comprises Civil, Mechanical and Environmental sections. The civil engineering divisions covers all types of contract work in factories and commercial buildings. The Mechanical division covers steel, and stainless fabrication installation of machinery industrial pipe laying and engineering work. The environmental divisions deals in water purification, waste water purification, sewerage treatment, noise and air pollution control systems for various industrial requirements.

Chairman Tritech, Viraj Wickremasinghe said the alliance formed with the Maldivian counterparts under "Maldivian Tritech (Pvt) Ltd will give a tremendous boost to the overseas operation.

He said the aim of Tritech is to provide its expertise to Sri Lankan and foreign companies at a competitive price.
